Wow, the last time we updated was in October, a long time ago

We just want to apologize for not writing, we have been so busy, there has been so much to do and so little time to do it all.  But we have not forgotten the xanga community, so do not fear.  My sister and I are alive and well, and we will continue our beloved story as soon as time allows it, that is a promise.

For now we just want to thank everyone for the comments, its so nice of you to write when we haven't updated in ages.  Thank you all!

As soon as we get the chance, our story will continue! Farewell for now.

Time wastes but we do want to thank everyone who left us a comment..forgive us for not writing back but our time is limited and so we bring you another installment of The Immortals. ( We promise to add you to our list and thank you personally)

The moon shone brilliantly in the clear, blue night sky. It cast an eerie glow across the tree lined streets, shadwos crawling over the pavement. Angelina and Lucrezia walked out into the still night, cheeks flushed from the excitement of the part they had just attended. They walked arm  in arm, as sisters often do, relishing their new found freedom and the simple pleasure of walking unaccompanied through Manchester. The wind blew gently, hitting their rosy cheeks. Lucrezia looked up into the sky, pointing at the full moon.

"Look Angelina, a full moon, "Lucrezia said. Angleina followed her gaze, eyes twinkling as the moon was reflected in them. "It's beautiful," she said smiling. "We must watch ourselves though, " cautioned Lucrezia. "And why is that?" Angelina asked. " A full mon is the call for all the creatures and monsters of the night to come out and play," Lucrezia replied, staring solemnly into Angelina's face. She chuckled then. "Angelina, surely you realize I am playing?" Angelina just stuck her tongue out at her.

They continued walking in this fashion for a few minute, discussing events from the party. Suddenly, Angleina grabbed Lucrezia's arm. "Did you hear that?" she asked softly. Lucrezia looked around. "No," she replied. Anglina's eyes darted around. She finally took a deep breath and sighed. "Stop being so paranoid," commanded Lucrezia. Angelina smiled and just as they were about to continue walking, the sound of crunching leaves was heard very, very clearly.

"Okay, that I heard," Lucrezia said pausing and grabbing Angelina by the elbow. It seemed almost silly for them to be so worried. They had never encountered trouble on their late nights, but tonight something in them quivered with fear or anticipation, they could not tell. They stood like that listening until suddenly, a figure appeared from the corner. The figures feet crunched in the fallen autumn leaves. It stayed in the shadows and suddenly stepped into a beam of moonlight.

"Full moon," whispered Lucrezia. "I told you we should have watched out." Angelina could not speak. Her mouth was slightly open as she stared at the person standing in the moons glow. Lucrezia followed her sister's gaze, her eyes opening slightly and her chin dropping a little.

We wish to tell you who or what it is, but that friends, is for next time

Good afternoon to you all! We thank all of you for stopping by our site. All the comments truly warmed our hearts and we are glad for some support...(finally!) Today we will continue with our story...please don't hesitate to ask questions about it our inquire more...we are more than willing to reply! Again, thank you and read on!

Their names were Lucrezia and Angelina Alsten. The eldest was Lucrezia. She was born on February 3, 1895 in the picturesque and beautiful Manchester, England. A few months later, on November 9, Angelina was brought into the world by her mother. And so they were born, the Alsten sisters.

Angelina, the youngest, was a beauty. She was 5'3" with long arms and thin, delicate fingers. Her head was a mass of wavy, deep brown locks. Her eyes were large and luminous, reminiscent of a cat's, glowing a dark, piercing brown while surrounded by thick eyelashes. She had high cheekbones, a defined nose and lips that naturally sparkled a deep hue. She had grace and elegance.

Lucrezia, on the other hand, was more childlike and cute. She was also petite in stature, only measuring half an inch taller than her younger sister. Her cheeks were round and pink, her eyes always bright, shining an amber brown color. Her nose was a button in the middle of her face, situated right above her pale pink smile. Her hair fell around her face in tight, golden brown curls. She was optimistic and boisterous.

It may have seemed to many that the two were opposites. However, they were an absolute compliment to each other and together, fomred two halves to a whole, a perfect sisterhood.

The town they grew up was Manchester. Their parents were aristrocrats with wealth and riches one could die for. Ever since the girl's birth, they were introduced to wealth. The mansion in which they lived in was entirely full of lavish furnishing, marble columns, precious silks and lace.

The sisters themselves were showered with attention and love. They were kept in the masnion, not allowed to go to parties or social gatherings. They were home-schooled in fine arts and education. They were also taught the proper place and status of an English woman. They knew mannes and how to mingle and start intellegent conversations on irrelevant subjects that showed off their refinement and upbringing.

At the age of 18 however, something happened. Their parents saw their raising of the two had taken a beautiful effect on their daughters. They were the epiphany of a proper English lady. They were finally allowed into the world of balls, festivals and society.

Little did they know, more than just grand dances awaited them. They were meant to become more, to live longer than anyone they knew. Soon, Lucrezia and Angelina would cross paths with what would become their destiny: immortality.

We welcome you mortals to our site. If you happened to stumble upon it, then fate is on your side! We are constantly revising our site, so bear with us the first few days. Our first story is called, "The Immortals" Yes, the name is the same as the site, but do ignore this fact. We are heavily influenced by this tale and hope you will enjoy it as much as we do. (Please leave comments and questions!)

"The Immortals"

Immortality seemd like a dream to them. It was an unimaginable concept and yet here they were, living it out. The year was 2003, and it had been 108 years since the sisters had first delved into the world of the undying. They had taken the leap together, becoming immortals in the year 1895. They were sisters, bonded by not only blood, but by the secret that they could never die.
